Hi,
Seems like I'm posting here every week with a new problem
I added new neons to my tank several days ago and apparently introduced ich into my tank. Well, I've been treating that with ridich+ for three days now. Last night I noticed my swordtail had a slight white edge on her tail. This morning when I turned the tank light on her tail is almost gone. I've read that melafix should be used but can I treat for both at the same time? Also, how easily does fin rot spread? should I dose the whole tank or move her to another tank?
Another question also. I know I should have a quarintine tank but I don't. I have a 20 gallon with a biowheel 150 filter. Would it be ok to buy another filter to put on the tank and cycle that filter? That way if I purchase fish or need to separate one for treatment I can have another cycled filter. Would it be too much filtration on a 20 gallon tank to keep them both running until needed? thinking of getting biowheel mini and using a 10 gallon quarintine tank.
Sorry for so many questions.
