Hi there, i've read the post on how the ich stages progress and what to do to speed it up. I have a 5gal WaterHome 5 fish tank, there are 2 cartridge filters that sit just under the hood and they contain carbon and both are sealed...do i need to remove all traces of carbon for the treatment to work?....if i do have to remove all the carbon then i have to remove the cartridge filters as the carbon is sealed inside and all my bacteria will die...hmmm....i was thinking of using my girlfriends goldfish filter which doesnt contain carbon but it will not have any bacterial growth and then take out my filter cartridges and put them into a container with tank water but i dont have a spare heater to put with it so i take it the bactria will die....i'm stuffed!!!........Any ideas?
