Today I set up my fry tank I think I wore my girlfriend down (to let me set it up) just in time as those poor little guys had grown quite a lot. They seem to be settling in to their new home pretty well, and still no casualties. I mean I knew they were meant to be easy to bread to the point of being unavoidable, but not to have any casualties??

I haven't had a casualty (To the best of my knowledge) in all my years of raising Guppy fry, so I don't think a non-casualty set is THAT rare. Maybe moreso nowadays though, with all the inbreeding. :dunno: It definitely seems like you're taking good care of them. :D

Good luck with the new tank. Did you cycle it?

ive had my guppy fry for 6 weeks first batch non lost

:) just starting to get some colours and added 4 peppered corydoras :D

guppy fry are fun to watch *or im just a weirdo* good luck and good job

Iv kept guppy fry a while, userally only lose some to being eatin, or some awful mistake on my part, but iv never lost any throgh disease, or transport, very hardy.

No I cloned it from my main tank, I always keep a smallish internal filter running in the main tank.
You never know when your gonna need it :p
Plus I used water from the main tank and i modded the filter so none of the fry would get sucked up into it

Okay, awesome. That's a common mistake, but you're way ahead of the crowd! :D

i read a lot of posts and try to take it on board the advice that is given, I probably spend more time researching fishy topics than I do studying for my chosen degree (fish are more fun)
