I Went To Look At Plants But...

I went to the lfs to look at the mosses they have there (as I was recommended them on here) and I came home with a gorgeous little betta

The filter was already cycled (it's been in my community tank) and I'd just finished my coconut cave for the to-be-betta home this morning when I went to the shop and... there he was!

All the other bettas they had were blue or red but he's kind of pink with blue edges on his fins, B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

I think I've fallen in love my boyfriend's jealous so he keeps insisting that Milo looks too feminine to be a boy

I'm so happy! I don't think my parents will feel the same when they get back from their holiday though, they've only been gone a day and look what's happened

LOL awesome. Plenty of pics when he has settled in, he sounds delicious. It always happens doesnt it? I went to get some cat things and came home with a veiltail the other night, I had a spare slot and he jst kept coming to see me lol. Anyways demand PICTURES! (Once he has settled )

We just shouldn't look but... it's so difficult not to look at the fishies! Sometimes I go in with no other intention than to look at the fishies, in fact I do that quite often

I'll try my best with pictures when he's settled in, though I aren't the best photographer!

Thats great stuff! Wheres he gone in the 3.5G tank? I assume you changed it around so its suitable? When hes settled please post pics of him and his new home!

Yeah I did

I got to do some re-scaping of my other tank with all the spare stuff I had

He's just got a coconut cave at the moment, but I'm going to get him either some silk plants or the java moss you suggested - when I go to a different lfs.

Peachy, orangey with electric blue and purple bits in his tail is, I think, the best decription

I had such a hard time getting him to swim in the light, with all of his body on show and then getting the camera to focus quick enough!

edit: I've looked at an orange dalmation on the net and he does look similar
