Who here remembers Sebsatian? Well his tank was empty. And I was sick of seeing it.
About 2 weeks ago I went and bought a Grade A mustard gas fighter.

It died two days later. /facepalm. Nothing I could have done, I shouldn't have been stupid enough to buy it.

However, yesterday, I decided to go get a new one.
In I went, and saw them lined up in cups, most of them half dead. I almost walked back out.

BUT. On closer inspection, there were a few that looked only slightly ragged. I immediately decided I liked a multicoloured crowntail. This was "Stark" as he is named now.
So, all packaged and ready to go, I turned a corner.
Oops.
In a <1 litre tank, there sat a white crowntail, all on his own! ..So I got him aswell. And a tank.
And then we saw the dumbos. One was practically dead, and the other two were white. However, one had a touch of grey on it. We got that one for mums tank, to replace Kishi.

The only media I have so far is of Frosty, who was the white crowntail.

Here's a link to a video of Frosty:

I hope it works!

We also believe that the dumbo is probably blind - which is worrying. He's quite stressed, and hasn't settled in yet.
Stark doesnt like being out in the open either.
Frostys having a great time though!

are you cycling your tank?
if not, probably the reason why the fish died. make sure that you cycle, it'll prolong the fish's life, and over all its better because you wont have a dead fish on your hands.

The tank had been set up for several months, so was definitely cycled, thankyou.

Stark is beautiful and has such nice edges to his fins.  :D     Frosty is nice and active.  Pretty color to him as well.  He does appear to have some regrowing of his fins (specifically his caudal fin) to do but everything looks good so far.  :D

Starks a strange one. He's nice and active if I'm not near him. The moment something goes near his tank, he hides in a plant haha! Doesnt really live up to the whole 'Iron Man/Fish' name. Both him and Frosty have a tad re-growing to do, yup :p Starks missing a little on his tail fin in my opinion, if I compare him to what Oliver used to look like.

I'd get a picture of Dumbo, but he's hidden himself for the past few hours in a leaf-den in the tank.

Awe lovely bettas!

Can't watch the video as I don't have flash player on the iPad, glad you have more ;)
