Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong but ALWAYS certai
As I posted before, I went away for 60 hours. No problem other than my small tank was 6 weeks into fishless cycling 
Before I went I was shifting 5.0 of ammonia in 12 hours. NitrIte was down to 2.0 (from off scale) and NitrAte was only just showing.
Wed and Thur added flake then I left at 5 am Friday morning (raised ammonia to 6.0) Neighbour came in Sunday afternoon and added ammonia which should have raised it to 6.0 again (without testing as not a fish person)
I have just got back (Monday afternoon) and done water test....
Ammonia 6.0
NitrIte 0 
NitrAte 80 
The nitrite and nitrate are as expected for cycle completed but don't know why ammonia is still high (unless neighbour had an accident )
I am going to leave it tonight and test in the morning and again in the evening.
If ammonia has gone great Shall do massive water change, add ammonia then do the 3 tests 12 hours later.
If not then I shall do a massive water change then check ammonia and bring it back up to 5-6 and see what happens.
Any advice or does this sound ok?
