I Watched My Balloon Molly Give Birth!

The other night I was cleaning my tank and had just got done adding water to it when I noticed something dart by real fast!!! I looked in the tank and saw a small something with eyes in the plant! It was a fry! I grabbed the small net and caught him and put him in the breeder. No sooner I saw 2 more dart by! I caught them. Then I saw other fish over by my pregnant Molly. I then saw fries shooting out of her! We watched her for over an hour and it was just so amazing to watch that experience! She had about 30 but we were only able to catch 20. We also saw the other fish eat the ones we couldn't catch. As it stands we have 15 that have survived the first few days.

Wow, that must have been cool. I've never seen the actual birthing process. I normally catch the fish right after with fry scattered about the tank already.
