I Was Wrong!

Last night I was doing my daily fry watch, and now that they are getting braver I saw 7!! I thought there were only 5! I thought I had only seen 5 or 6 little dots in her tummy, but I was wrong! They are starting to look just like her, and look like miniature platies, they are SO cute! Now what to do with them all? I only know 3 people who want one... maybe they will take two, hehe. Im keeping a female for sure, if I get any females in the bunch!
Unfortunatly, I have only seen 2 baby guppies now... their bravery has got them into trouble, and im afraid most didnt make it. But like the platy fry, I could be wrong and they could be hiding very very well.
And as for my zebra danio fry, I saw one dart by a platy fry last night and the fry tried to eat it hahaha, it was cute, the danio got away of course, faster than lightning those things are. I cant believe any of those have still survived.
And on a worse note, my male blue spotted platy has been killed, and most likely aten. He is nowhere in sight and he with a few others are spending time in the big tank with the big fish untill the babies were old enough not to get ate. But im rethinking my plans, and they will probably be going back in the little tank now.

Sounds like an up and down time! Congrats on more fry, and sorry about the Guppy fry and the male Platy.

You could try giving the fry to your LFS, or seeing if anyone on here wants a few.

Why thank you! I had provided plenty, and I mean PLENTY of hiding spots, most of which the bigger fish cant even get too, and it was up to the guppy fry to hide there. It was out of my hands then, plus survival of the fittest is what im going for since it will be tough to find homes. Our lfs will not take any fish/fry from anyone. They only take in bigger fish, like huge plecos, tinfoil barbs, oscars, pacus, sharks, silverdollars and so on, they dont take in smaller tropical fish unfortunatly. I never thought of trying to give them away on here, thats a pretty good idea~ Might have to try that if I cant find homes for all of them in the friends and family catagory. Its been a fun experience though, cant wait for more from the other ones!

They may just be hiding them. Fry are pretty smart, you have to give them that.

You should try giving them away on here, if need be. At least you know the people will take care of them, and you can probably find a home fairly easily. Just remember to put your location.
