I Want To Move My Tank...

hi i have recently noticed that my temprature raised to 44'c because of the hot weather we have had here recently in the UK (without the heater)
a lot of my fish died (about 7)
the tank is in the coservetry (sorry about the spelling) this is why the temp has raised so much.
i want to move it into my bedroom.
any ideas on transfering the fish and the tank yo my bedroom?

Put all the fish in a rubbermaid container.. put the filter in there too, so the good bacteria doesn't die... then just move the tank, fill it with new water, dechlorinate it, then get the fish used to the new water, and dump all the water from the rubbermaid container in.
