I Want Heckel Discus!

Does anyone in Ontario know where can i get some? Either Heckel, Brown, Green or Blue Discus, any of the wild colorations.

I live close to the GTA so you can get a basic idea of where to recommend some

They were once the most common types to find, but no one appreciated the prominent black bars, so they soon went out of fashion like mink

Same goes with the other types, but more 'interesting' colours developed, or so everyone thinks, but i beg to differ!

I'll love you if you can tell me where to get some

Why not look online? If it's what you really want, it's probably worth the investment.

I've been collecting links for discus breeders/importers that are located in Southern Ontario. (I'm in Niagara) This may be of use to you http/www2.kumlinstropical.com/kumlin/home.html they are in Pickering and although they don't show any Heckels on their website, they do import fish and may be able to source some for you. I was just going to suggest contact in Barb at CanadaDiscus. She will likely know where you can obtain Heckels.
