He's cute, I'm not a huge fan of dragons, try aquabid, lots of the thai breeders sell first class dragons... if you can afford them

A shop? Good luck the only place you're going to find a real quality dragon hm is aquabid, from either a breeder in thailand or singapore, or a seller who imports from thailand. The best I can tell you is to contact wildmagiclady on aquabid, shes ordering a new shipment from thailand soon and you can request a dragon hm, but it'll probably cost you $40 + shipping

I have 1, alot like the one in that pic. Same colors, but not quite HM. About 170 or so degrees, but he'll be a lot less than $40 too. When he is in full flare (which he doesn't do too often) I will be selling him, and others soon. Just waiting for my heat packs. I am borrowing a camera within the next day or so. I'll be taking pics of all the Betta's i'll be selling. I'll be posting the pics of the ones for sale, on the sell/trade boaed. But, I'll put this guy's pic here too.

hmm i'm not so sure i like the white on his body, i like it through his tail though...
just out of curiosity and not to hijack, but what makes them a dragon?

I think dragon refers to the metallic shine on them... like the white on the pic in the OP.
I could be wrong though... still trying to figure out alot of the different names.. lol.. like monster, and mustard gas and all of that mess hehe....

I know butterfly and marble though!

Hmm interesting thread. On the basis of my mate's opinion I have recently bought what she thinks *may* be a red dragon plakat. (Sp??).
To me, it's a plakat, fine, red lower body and fins, white/silver on top half of body.

Sooooo is it a dragon or just stripey?
I have a pic on my phone but no way of getting it online sadly.

If it IS one of these fancy ones, anyone wanting one better get themselves to Leeds as there were about half a dozen similar in other tanks....
