Wow! I had NO idea it was THAT bad where u guys r. I'm officially quitting my complaining...
Exweeqtx - yes I did see this stunner and my fingers were itching... But first off I still need to convince my husband on adding another tank at home (I have my first betta at the office, so I caught the betta bug, but he didn't...) And - believe it or not - even though VTs are the most common "boring" ones I find them more beautiful than the HM. I.e. I would much rather have a fish like Bubbles than this one from aquabid.
I do like CTs though I fear that there fins would get bashed up in a regular tank set up. I hear the breeders keep them in completely empty tanks. My friends CT had nothing with him other than round pebbles and a large cave and he stil managed to completely break one of the long spikes so that it is now sticking out at a 270 degree angle, I.e. Sticking forward... : (
Long story short - I am stil fighting the urge of getting more bettas. After all I've only had my first one for 2 months...
