I Think My Oscar Ate The Thermometer..........?

im not sure why im posting because im sure theres not a lot i can do but...
i put a brand new digital thermometer in the oscar tank today, a small rectangle shaped thing that sticks on the inside of the glass. as usual the oscars were curious of there new tank decor but i thought nothing of it.

i just gone back to check the temp and the suction cup is still there but the thermometer bit is gone?
ive searched everywhere, even in the sump filter....i dont know what to do so have came here to panic instead
surely he would have spat it back out, nothing looks lodged in its mouth, so its either swallowed or..i dunno???

Well ....... Osacrs are a tough fish, you must had noticed that. hehehe. They are known to rerange thier tank's decoration as they want. Filters, Heaters, thermometer and some decoration are vulnerbul to get broken or thrown away in a different areas in tank.

chances are it's not been eaten I know oscars have big mouths but reckon you'd be able to tell - do any have odd lumps?

its ok i found it, the big pleco was sitting on it under the bogwood!..panic over!!!!!!
back to the old thermometer for the oscars(!)

i think it will be fine spishkey they have probably spat it out and buried it or got it lodged under a cave or something
