A few weeks back, I had a blue ram that had died. Her name was leggo. She had a friend to chum around with, her name was Eggo.
Anyway, this evening I come home and I happen to notice that eggo is hovering in a corner. My first thought was, "oh no, here we go again."
But as i looked closer, i see like a hundred small yellow, white colored eggs. So naturally i assume that because she is hovering over them, they are hers.
First off, I have no idea how this happened. I did not plan it, and she did not look like she was carrying any eggs. If what i am reading is correct, the eggs would already be fertile and should hatch by 5pm est on Sunday. Thats like 2 days. see hereAnyway, although I have added 2 more females, (well I think they are females) I have no idea what the deal is here. Is it possible that she could lay the eggs and them not actually be fertilized.
I need a little help. I have been reading page after page about breeding and general info. Guess i will keep reading. I did get this nifty new camera, and I did also snap some shots of the "eggs". I will post them tomorrow.
Thanks
