I Think My Blue Mickey Mouse Platy Is Pregnant, Can You Help Me Decide

My platy has a gravid(sp) spot and it is pretty big and she is plump, but when will i know she is ready because i have her in a breeders net and i don't want her to be there to long. I had to put her in there because the male platy was poking her.

You will get a few little signs like her trying to hide in the corner or near planted areas and she wont want to eat anything neither, also if the males are frantically chasing her this can also means that she is close to giving birth good luck

yep males are good sign for pending drops but this is usually a couple of hours before the drop.

also she'll square of a bit
you'll noticed that where her poo comes from drops a bit, more level to the front of her stomach

If she has an abnormally large stomach then that is a big sign that she may be pregnant! Unless it is a disease such as bloat.
