I think I'm set for fish

I now have my 55 (US) gallon community tank stocked with the following fish:
4 swordtails
6 platies
6 pristellas
6 serpae tetras
6 peppered cories

I am going to add 4 ottos soon. I believe that does it for this tank, correct? Or, do I have room for a couple more pristellas and serpae tetras?

So you will know, I am running two AC 300 filters (600 gal per hr total) and do a 30 - 40% water change each week.

I really like the activity level of this tank. It is peaceful yet active across all levels of the tank. The serpae tetras and the pristellas school together and separately at times and when the colors mix it is quite stunning.

It *is* pretty much full but a couple more of each of the 2 tetras won't add much bio-load and with regular maintainance should be fine.

I figured that I had everything in that I could. I know that it is better to under rather than over stock. After I get the otto cats, I will call it a day on this tank and start plotting for how I can sneak the next one in. You should have seen the look on the GF's face when I brought in the 30 long and started setting up the "tiger" tank.

Actually, she was the one who wanted to get the first aquarium so our four cats would have a "TV" to watch. I am the one who caught the major fish addiction. I have it real bad. I may need to go to AA:

I hear ya I got MTS too! Where in Rocky mount do you get fish? I'm from Greensboro but I'm headed their tomorrow (scotland neck actually right outside of rocky mount) and wouldn't mind checking out some local fish shops around there, just curious.
