I came home from work and opened the hatch on my tank to feed my fish and 1 of my danios is very bloated and looks like a pine cone.
i've been searching on here for posts with these symptoms and i think it's dropsy, but i want to make sure.
i have set up a hospital tank and isolated the poor thing, but i could do with some advice on how to treat it or what to do next, all the fish shops are closed so i cant get anything until the morning but i dont want my other fish getting ill, they all seam ok at the moment, i have done a 30% water change but the stats were fine.
the last fish i added were neons and that was 5 weeks ago, i have 6 neons, 4 platys (lost 1 2 weeks ago but it didnt have any of these symptoms), 7 danios and a hongkong algee eater.
my tank is 90 ltrs
any help you can give will be very much appreciated
Thank you.
