i think i have impotent males!!

Hi everyone! Hopefully someone can shed some light on my situation. My tank has been up and running now for 4 months. I have a 25 gallon tank (amonia-0, nitrite-0, nitrate -10) with 4 platties (1 male, 3 female) and 5 mollies (1 male, 4 females) amongst a few other non-livebearers. Thing is.. never once have my females had any babies. Isn't this really odd?? I know that they ...uhh.. .'play' alot. .. Howard my male molly is especially 'playful' ... but never seen any of the results.

It's not that i really want or have room for extra fish in my tank right now... and if any of the females ever did get pregnant i doubt I would use a fry tank (although I do have one) but rather would let nature take it's course. Could it be that the others just eat the fry that quickly and that none ever survive? Seems odd to me.

It's very possible the majority of the fish you own ate the fry, even my neon tetras would eat guppy fry whole! Unless you have dense plants(like moss) for the fry to hide in, chances are they'll be eaten within 24 hrs.
