I Think I Have Ich

Ok so I just looked at my fish and think that they have Ich they all have little white dots on their fins what should I medicate with, how long and should I take the carbon out of my filter which is in there right now to clear up cloudy water. Also how urgently is this medication needed?

i would check to make sure its not velvet before treating.
if it is ick:
the exact instructions will be on your product. but you will need to treat it twice, with some days in between, and bumping up the temp will speed up the process.

As said - make sure it is.
Are they like salt grains (Used Wilders famous explanation there) ?

If so - I use Kingbritish WS3. Add as per stated dosage. Increase temp by a little ammount in tank over a day or two.

Whats your temp at now ?
Increase aeration in the tank, either by air stone or turn up your filter to aggitiate the surface more.

The sooner you start treating the better. ich kills fish quite quickly once it gets a hold.
