my boesemanis have black horizontal stress lines and noone here has the same effect with theirs, they also have duller colors,imthinking a turquise and bosemani hybrid is what i have, ill try and get pics

will they still shoal with true ones?

I know next to nothing about rainbows. But I know that corys and tetras school with others if they have the same body shape. So if they have the same body shape... I would assume they would, but I have no idea, to be honest.
