I Think I Got A Problem

ok, so i have 2 swordtaila and 2 platys in my tank and 1 of eache= has ich so i moved them to a quarrantine tank so that i can treat it, bu after getting advice from the people on this forum, i leared that it was best to put the two fishes back into the main tank and treat it altogether, but when i put the 2 fishes back, they seemed kinda pale, lost their colours and are not eating...also when i put them back, the other fishes are chasing them. As in, the oher swordtail is casin the infected one, nipping on its body and tail, and the other platy is also chasing the infeced platy, doing the same thing...im worried, wat can i do? im also afraid the medicine would kill my bacterias and affect the non-affected fish as well as my plants...help pls..thank you

They may just be chasing because you took them out for a while, they will probably settle back down. I suspect they have lost some of their colour as they are stressed from being moved, plus the ich.

The meds you use, depending on which one it is, can you tell us? Should not effect your bacteria providing you use and dose as per the instructions. It certainly wont effect your plants or the fish uneffected by the ich, but it will hopefully stop the infection from spreading to anymore fish.

Have you been able to get any medication for the ich yet? If so which one?

im using genral aid from ocean free...which can cure ich, it will turn the water green but the label did not say that the med would not harm the bacterias...however i have another med for fin rot and on that label it did specifically say that it will not harm the bacteria
