i think i found an egg?

my fish had white spot so i had to treat them fast and the booklet for anti whitespot said to take all rocks and ornaments out so i did and on the fourth day it told me to put them back but i kept the ornaments and rocks in a bag for for days and they might be dusty so i washed them and in that time i saw like a bubble thing about half a centermeter long it has obviously been in there since i took the ornament out so i touched it and it was hard and like a seethrough grey colour what freshwater fish lays eggs that size ive got..........

dwarf gouramis
neon tetras
guppies obviously not them livebearers
mollies not these either livebearers
albino cory
pleco only 1

i noticed my gourami kept guarding this ornament for a long time do you think it was the gourami.
i know they make a bubble nest but thats on top of the water isnt it?

This is saltwater. You might want to try posting this in freshwater.
