And he really does have teeth. I didnt know that they had teeth. Does anyone here believe me or am I crazy. It poured the blood for around 5 minutes. Now My Finger is sore....LOL this isnt a joke I need some one else to tell me that they have teeth.

Did it leave teeth marks? Chances are that they do have teeth (my severum has little ones!) if yours caused you to bleed

I'm not sure what type of teeth it has, jaw or mouth, but they do have teeth. Unlike pirahnas, you can't see the teeth, probably, meaning the have mouth teeth.

All fish have teeth, even corydoras. Theirs are phyrangeal teeth, which are inside their throats.

Salmonella and all that are problem, so you might want to use gloves and be more careful.

Almost all cichlids have teeth, including Oscars, and the oscars are pharyngeal, their teeth are in the throat as well as the mouth.

I thought I was going crazy I knew they had teeth, But I never had any Ideal that they would actually bite. He was trying to get the shrimp out of my hands. See I feed my fish cooked shrimp it cost a little more but I have healthy fish plus I dont have to murder my guppies. I bought, bunch of feeder guppies and then didnt heave the heart to feed them to my fish after I bought them....

That oscar is crazy it cant wait to be fed it had to try to jump out and take the food out of your hand before you are ready to drop it. The way it acts you would think I starved it.

It's a good thing I read this thread. I used to tease the oscars at work by letting them bite on my fingers (i'm a horrible person I know). I won't do it now though because I know my finger can now actually fit in their mouths. Now I will stop daring people to let them bite fingers!

I have a slight preoccupation with monsters, by the way. THe biggest one I can fit in my room right now is my pacman frog, though--it gets the size of a baseball glove and has a nice horny tooth all along its bottom jaw. Now HE can draw blood!!! Still, I'm working on finding a bigger monster... I wonder if my mother would let me put a pike in her fishpond. No, no--a SNAKEHEAD!!! yeah...
