LUK ITS A FUZBALL
Well, a week ago Larry got swimbladder but got cured a few hours later. A couple days ago he got it again and just now began to recooperate. The thing is, ever since I've had him, the ammonia in his tank is .50. I change it 100% every night in hopes that the nitrite cycle will start, but it's just not working. I've been doing that for two weeks or so and still it's .50. I treated him with Maracyn as he was a rescue when I first got him, and I've heard Maracyn kills bacteria. I just realized the levels were high then so after 5 days of Maracyn I started a dose of Jungle, although that didn't work too well as the water was being changed daily. But the levels are still high. I haven't bought a filter as I don't see how everybody could have filterless tanks, but not me.
Ares is a bigger betta in with an ADF and his tank doesn't have any ammonia. How can I stop the ammonia?!
