I Sprayed near tank help

hi

i sprayed some insectiside out side to stop flys and bugs getting in, but i didnt think it was so strong that it smells real bad inside(it has on cover deadly to aquatic life) So ive stoped air pump covered tank is ther anything else i can do to try to stop it from killing my fish or am i 2 late it still smells bad now?

Just because the air smells bad, doesn't mean there is enough chemical in the air to be fatal to your fish. Turning off your air pump and covering the tank was a good idea though. Personally, I think you're fish will be fine, unless you were caoughing or otherwise affected, chances are that the concentration of the chemical was not high enough to harm your fish. To be safe though, also ventilate the area (open window, maybe fan the area) and do change some water. Probably sooner rather than later.
