I did a water test now with liquid kit and it told me I had nitritesat.50ppm but there strip test told me that I had 3ppm I should trust my kit right.

The test-tube kits are recognised as being far more accurate than the strips. I started by buying the strips but as soon as I had used them I bought a drop kit. Although more expensive they will last much longer than strips, so are more accurate and cheaper in the long run :good:

Are you sure somewhere along the lines Nitrites and nitrates have not gotten confused?

In general strip tests are not known for their accuracy but that is quite a difference. That being said though I use Tetratest 5in1 strips for quick checks, they are pretty accurate and are good for quickly checking everything is ok. If something looks out of place I break out the liquid test kits for a more accurate reading. It all depend on what strip tests (and liquid tests) you are using.

A lot of lfs stores will not use the test strips as they are not accurate at all. You are definitely best sticking with your liquid test kit for a more accurate reading. :good:
