So I went into petco today to get dog food, and I took a quick look at the bettas, most of them looked fairly healthy their cups were clean and none were dead so it was a plus, lol. But I came across this gorgeous little ct, he had a red body with red and white marbles fins, with some blue flecks in his tail, but I said to myself, that with the breeding imports coming in that I just didnt have the room and I forced myself to put him down and leave. But I havent been able to stop thinking about him since... *sigh* I should have gotten him...

I do that all the time...then I have to make a second trip to the store to get the fish I wanted. Now I just don't listen to that voice that says"no"and get the fish on the first trip...it saves on gas!!!

I usually sleep on it then go back and if it's still there.....it's meant to be mine

Mmmmmmm........sounds like a plan

I'm with Sharon. I figure that anything I can provide, even if not ideal (as in 1.5 gal, usually no filter) has GOT to be better than those tiny cups other people will provide.

ugh I couldnt get over to petco today :( I went to the gym in the morning, then work at good old dunkin donuts then I had to get an MRI cause I hurt my back! I hope hes still there tomorrow

I did that with my Moey.

I hadn't had a betta in well over 5 years, but when I was at the pet shop and I saw him there, I just couldn't leave him. Iknew I would regret it if I didn't get him that day...

So I grabbed him

So how's the back?
What happened?
Having to have an MRI sounds like it was pretty bad...

can't wait for a pictures. thats how i felt about the new one, i saw him at the store a week ago and he stood out because he wasn't the standered colors, i went back and he was still there. i will make him a healthy pretty boy, and your new freind is a lucky fish too.
