i went to petsmart to get some stuff for my 20gl. and the ammonia problem, well i was waiting for the person to help me, so i snuck on over by the fish and saw the convicts...hummm...i look around the tank, healthy stock, young, vibrant, then i spot eggs! omgomgomg! i have never seen eggs! lol and so i was like..."i need those fish" well i have kinda wanted cons for the 20gl. b4 i even got it, then i saw the danios and stuff, but i was wondering...

i was thinking about moving my other fish to another tank...

can i get 2 convicts and maybe raise young in the 20gl. and stuff?

convicts will breed in your 20 gallon

you'll need a plan for the fry though, expect a lot every month. and anything else living with them will end up dead except maybe a snail or two...

i wouldn't keep convicts though

Yep, you could look after 2 breeding pair in your 20g. They are very fun to breed but like yvez9 said, you are going to have hundreds very soon.
They like deep gravel that they can scoop out to form bowls for their eggs. Have a few rock caves and keep then in a non busy part of your house-they like their privacy when they breed.
