I Saw The Prettiest Betta The Other Day..

I went to the LFS yesterday, and they were all sold out of male bettas (I hope some of them got good homes...) so I took a peep around at all the females they had.

One of the females was beautiful, it wasn't colorful to say the least, but it was a very silvery shade on the body and fins, with each scale outlined in black and the tips of the fins all black as well. The tail looked like it was in a half moon shape, and she was much healthier than the rest of the bettas they had. I was kicking myself for not having a peaceful tank to keep it in. I just wanna go back to the store and buy a 5 gallon tank for it

I can't honestly say I see a lot of bettas around here that really stick out, but this one was definitely an exception, I'm definitely gonna take a peep at the female bettas more often now.

yea, everytime igot to a petstore, their bettas ar in crappy care, i want to buy them and get them a better home, but my parents would say no, they think i have too many and i don't have the space .__. i saw this realllyy pretty male at petsmart and i was actually allowed to get it!! i was so happy, its sitll alive and well today.
