I really need help!!!

My tube from my canister filter came off and there was water running out of it behind the tank stand... Now i cant get to behind the tank to clean it and im not sure how much water has come out or if there is electrical stuff behind it... its a 55g tank Should i tank out the water from the tank and move the stand and clean the water or will it be fine as is?

Did the water level drop significantly in your tank?

Is the stand that your tank is on wood or metal?

What type of flooring is it on? (Carpet, tile, linoleum?)

Do you own your dwelling or rent? Or is it your parent's home?

Do you know how to turn off the circuit breaker for any electrical outlets behind the tank? Can you shine a flashlight back there and see an electrical outlet?

Thanx for your reply polar i think everything is going to be fine... kinda stressed a bit the water level didnt drop because it was only the intake valve so it was whatever overflowed from the canister, The Stand wooden, flooring are floor borads luckily! I turned everything off and inspected it and there was no electrical stuff behind it which was lucky so i jus threw a fan to blow behind it and it should be fine i hope! you should be fine.

I've had water drip on my computer's powerbar and nothing got damaged. I wouldn't do it on purpose, but at least I know it's not that sensitive
