Well, after an inevitable disaster with my 29G Malawi Tank, my LFS took the last from me today.

That was not the problem. I took all the rocks out to catch them, to leave behind my beautiful Bristlenose!! After 3 hours of an empty tank I still couldnt see him anywhere. I went into the garden to check to bits I had taken out, including a resin mangrove root which still contained a small amount of water, and there he was!!!!!!!! He wasnt breathing and I thought he was dead, but I popped him back into the tank, and waited for the worst. His eyes were moving, and occasionally a few air bubbles would come from his gills, then a few more, then a load of detrius came out.

3 hous on and he is mooching around the tank like nothing ever happened. :hyper: :good: :D

Are we lucky or not????

Poor little bugger, he is my oldest fish and I feel absolutely awful that I may have killed him!!!!!
