I need your opinion

Okay so this morning i had a full batch of convict eggs on the inside of a ship, at like 400 all of the eggs are now gone, i can maybe count 4 or 5 eggs still stuck on the wall? where did all the eggs go

Don't no much at all about convicts, what other fish is in there with them.

If they haven't hatched I would say they have probably eaten them.

My cichlids have eaten the eggs if they felt the eggs were in jeopardy.

The convicts will eat them if they feel even slightly threghtened, Oscars will certainly do that as pnyklr3 said. Convicts are a species tank fish if you wish to breed.

If this is one of the first times they have tried to spawn, it is perfectly normal for the convicts to eat their own eggs. I have yet to see a pair that did not do so the first time. Eventualy they will realise they are not supposed to eat them - and then you'll find yourself with a lot more fry than you ever realy wanted

You know, I forgot to mention that! My cichlids did eat their eggs from the first spawn. Good point.
