I need Immediate HELP

What is THIS??? She has a 1/4 inch (big) growth of cottony/slimy white/grey on her body ! She is floating about vertically! How do I treat this to save the others!?

The vertical position is typical of swim bladder infections, as for the white patch, it could be a fungus or a parasite. I'm not very experienced on infections, someone else will probably be of more help

Increase the water changes for a while to everyday. If you're concerned, treat with melafix too. Sounds like the end stage of whatever killed her was fungus.

I just finished a 5 day course of melafix! Oh, thank you for the response, so quickly. Should I try maracide She looks awful!

hello guppymama,
i've seen this before on one of my angelfish. i treated him with fungus clear made by jungle laboratories (the fizzing tablets at walmart). it cleared right up and the treatment lasts for 3 days, make sure and remove the carbon from the filter during treatment.
