Hey, i recently bought an Aqua Qube 40 and it came with an Aqua Flow 1 Filter, but the instructions were pitiful to say the least without a single picture! as a result i have a host of plastic connectors that dont really connect.

I have a bubble rock type thing in my old tank that sits at the bottom and need a flexible tube in one end so i need to conect the tubing and i also want to connect the rigid tube with holes along it for some circulation arounf the top of the tank.

has anyone any ideas, or even better a photo of an Aqua Flow 1 set up?

many thanks

jonno

P.S. I am running a coldwater tank with fantails if that makes any difference! :good:

Hi,
I just wondered if you had worked out how to set the aqua-flow as I am having the same problem, I have a white tube and no clue where to put it.

Hello,

My wife just got one of these. The top part where the water is expelled is removable. You should have a another part with a small round bit for attaching the house. That bit replaces the nozzle that it comes with. The other bits I don't have a clue about. Had a look at their website and its pretty useless too.

Snap, ive been searching for a use for these wires, thought id forgotten something important.

Hi all,

I think I have figured out my Aqua - Flow 1:
as MIKEYMC says the 2-part directional nozzle that it comes with is removable from the filter.
You can then fit either of the 3 parts (with the correct sized end) to the filter.
These 3 are:
- no restriction,
- medium restriction + air line,
- or max restriction,
These will vary the power of the water-jet output.

If you use the air line part then you can put the final piece (an adjustable air intake) outside the tank via the hose.
You can twiddle the top bit to vary the amount of air added to the water jet.
(I am not sure if makes a difference if the hose attaches below or above the connector at the filter).
Also, on mine, not all of the parts fit that well to the filter body.

I hope this makes sense and hope it helps...
