I Need Help Please

I need some help or advice about my blue cichlid he is swimming vertically and i have not seen him eat today.What can it be?I am new at this fish stuff.

Does he have any control of his swimming at all?
Do you have aeration in the tank?
How long have you had him?
What size tank is he in?
How long has your tank been setup?

He might have swimmbladder. Does he look bloated at all?
