They don't know when to stop eating, so it's important that you regulate it yourself. Your schedule sounds pretty good, I wouldn't be too worried. You could possibly bump up the feedings to three times a day, and feed less each time. That supposedly works better with them, since they have fast digestive systems.

I agree, stick with what your doing, as they seem healthy and happy. Fish are not like some pets that will stop when they are full.

the guppys are the worst for it , they are always hovering around

will give it a go splitting the morning feed to half in morning , half in the afternoon and keep giving them their peas or cucumber at night

i`m up to my armpits in fishy water most nights, pruning plants, sifting out snails, water changes, fishing out last nights cucumber....

i dont see whats wrong with putting your hand in the tank 2bh, mines always in my tank , weather im putting new plants in , or taking them out or pruning or swapping things around, and the fish dont seem fussed and get on with what there doing and sometimes even come to be nosey like eating my arm , it rarther tickles as well when my rainbow shark does it to me
