I Lost Some Fish In The Move =[

since the move took longer than expected most of the filter bacteria had died and the fish were in bags for much longer than I had anticipated =[ I lost about 5 or 6 in total. inculding 2 of my bettas =[

I was also told that having 2 big tanks in my room wasnt an option so I had to put all of my fish into one tank! luckily one was sparcely stocked

I decided to add those new evolution aqua balls which really really seemed to help, havent had any problems, no ammonia spikes or anything, and those filters were off for a good 10 hours!

but anyways heres the new tank =]Im hopefully gonna be adding CO2 to the mix as I know the plants are a bit crappy looking =\

very nicely planted but im sorry for your loss.

yeah, i lost a TT 1200 filter for a week after it broke, but i managed to avert any disasters on my 4x2x2 due to having another filter. i always double on on filters or have a spare on running somewhere that i can move around if there is a problem.
your playing russian roulette otherwise. waiting, just waiting for a disaster.!

Sorry for your loss... Tanks looking great though. I wouldn't even bother with c02 the plants are looking pretty lush... Maybe some more in the background.

What are the fish in there that look like black phantom tetra with red noses and white pelvic fins?

Thanks =] you can also see my failed attempt a riccia at the front :\ some of the plants are looking a bit ropey so i may just try a yeast based starter system, but i do agree about the background plants, there is some vallis but its just a little small right now hehe

really nice shoaling fish, Ive got 6, they just keep to themselves

I have 3 in a community tank. I want to add at the very least another, probably a crowntail to mine.

Ive got about 10? now I think, the bright blue one you can see in the middle of the 2nd pic is the boss! they do a little bit of chasing but are usually very good

Ive also got 5 males [did have 8 ] and maybe another one on thursday hehe

Its a 125L tank running with 2 internals and soon to be an aquamanta 200 external to cope with the extra bioload
