He was fine last night, happy and blowing bubbles, and this morning he was gone... I have no idea what happened RIP beautiful boy!!

Oh no I'm sorry for your loss. Was he swollen at all? He could have been old if he was from an LFS.

So sorry..his tail was really poorly though. At least you had him for a little while and he looked really happy in his sparkly clean water...you did all you could for him hugs and kisses for caring.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my betta called Flow(named after my nan who i never got to meet) and he died in his bag that i was keeping him in for an hour whilst i changed the substrate in his tank. The newt and ADF are fine but he sadly died in his bag Do you think it could have been that he didnt have enough o2 or could it have been that the main tanks temp was too hot(as i was floating the bags in there).The temp in the mains 28 degrees c and his tank is like 24 degrees c (its 28 as treating for white spot)
Anyway sorry for taking your forum other but i know how you feel. On a brightish side im getting a crowntail from wildwoods soon,hopefully!
