but there is no way I could ever afford 10 of these at a 1/2 inch... must be pretty rare or highly desirable... it's not for me, posting if it's your bucket list fish...

Pretty! I'm not a fan of serpae tetras or any similar looking fish, but those are nice!
I have some - I've even had one lonesome fry. They are nice but don't colour up as strongly here.
A school of those will give a nice color contrast in a planted tank.
A school of those from Dan would break the bank. Dan’s pricing is absolutely ridiculous at times.

I've been known to spend that much on unusual Hillstream's, but 2-3 of them, and I really love my Tetras too, but just can't spend that much for an acceptable group size
