OK i have 2 Oscars.. Im not even sure what type. I was supposed to get a 75 Gallon for my Oscars and Only my Oscars but i moved and now have no room for it. They are cuurently in a 55 Gallon with Many other fish (look at signature for full list). They get along fine with the other fish but they do fight each other sometimes. Will they be ok or will they kill each other?? I will be adding many many plants soo to make it a heavily planted tank with plenty of hiding places. There are two filters, An AquaClear 300 and an emperor 400. Here are Pics

no a 55 isn't even big enough for one oscar when fully grown. and on another note as the oscars grow don't be sad if you start to see some of those fish that you have listed in there missing cause they are as good as cooked up for dinner now.

What do you suggest i do with the oscars?? I am so upset that i dont get to keep them. I really wanted that 75 Gallon..

If i remove all gouramis, could i keep the channel cats (9 Inches each), Pl*cos, ONE Oscar, and add a Jack Dempsy would it be ok or do i have to get rid of both oscars?

sorry to say buddy. you CAN NOT keep a full grown oscar in a 55 gallon tank you can keep a JD but again all of you other fish will be dinner.

ok thanks alot, ill give them to a friend .. He has a 200 gallon tank with a florida Gar and a 15 inch Pl*co.

on another note you have listed a giant gourami...hate to burst your bubble but ginat gouramis make oscars look like neon tetras when they are full grown. i have seen them up to two feet in length.

Thats weird, I have never seen a gourami like that and I thought the giant gourami was the huge one and the one that had bead-like-eyes.
