Sooky good for you rescuing unwanted fish. That is so cool. I wish I had that many tanks. I know you get most of your fish for free, but (this may seem way off topic but) how much does all of that cost to run? That would be COOOl to have that many large tanks up and running when I get older

Hiya mate. I now have 8 tanks up and running(set up my betta tank yesterday!!). I havent really got that many for free. I have had 1 friend who has brought me 3 different lots of fish, and i rescued some platty fry from Natsuko. Other than that, i have purchsed/reared my own.

As for the cost, i dont really know yet LOL. i havent had the first bill in yet for the leccy since i set all the tanks up. However, with me have a room that has 4 tanks in and another with 2 in the heater side of things isnt really an issue as the room is always quite warm. I think i may have started at the right time of year though, because i will be able to gauge how much the difference is between winter and summer in terms of the leccy bill. Obvioulsy when its warmer in the summer the heaters will hardly come on. Hope that helps.


P.S 9 also have another 23 24x15x12 tanks in my garden all drilled and waiting for my fish house to be built hehheehe
