I Know Its A Stupid Question But......

i keep seeing mention of flourish and flourish excel what are these and how beneficial/neccessary are they, sorry for seeming stupid

flourish and flourish excel are nothe made by seachem. Normal 'flourish' is a plant fertaliser. A very good one at that in my opinion. Plants do need a good supply of N (nitrate) and P (phosphate), but this food only supplies them at a minute amount.

flourish excel, is a liquid carbon. Normally dosed everyday as it only has a 24 hour halflife. It works by making the most of the organic cabon already in the water. http/www.seachem.com/support/FAQs/FlourishExcel.html have a read of this.
