I killed a shrimp :(

Only you guys can understand how awful I feel. My husband is probably thinking 'it's only a shrimp' but he doesn't dare say it.

So anyway I got some ghost shrimp today, acclimated them, and netted them out of the bag since I try not to put lfs water in my tanks. My kids said I got all 4, I glanced in the bag when I took it out, and didn't see anything. I dumped the water into the tub we don't use and later, when I turned the lights on, I spent probably 2 hours (and my hubby too) looking for that 4th shrimp (which was a tiny one). No luck. So I checked the net, no shrimp. Checked the bag, nothing. I found him lying on the bottom of my bathtub. Apparently he was still hiding in the corner of the bag where he was hidden. Poor little guy.

Don't blame yourself. Those little guys are hard to see.

Thanks. I still feel awful and I lost another one last night (he wasn't looking good in the bag either). The remaining two look good though, and are working hard cleaning up the tank.
