I just robbed the my lfs. They gave me:

2 Redline Barbs

and 4 Blackline Penguin Fish

all for $10.:biggrin: I know the barbs go for at least $20 each, but I'm not for sure what the penguin fish go for. Does anyone know?

Usually around the £1 mark here, which is ~$2.

Any reason why you only got two though? They would prefer to be kept in a bigger group .

I love getting deals at the lfs. I work at a pet store so I get first grab at any oddballs that come in by accident. I got some mosquito fish (Gambusia holbrooki) that accidentally came in with some feeder fish. I grabbed some half beaks that came in accidentally. The owner didn't even know what they were so I got them for a dollar a piece. LOL NO one else in my area has half beaks at all! Sometimes its basically a steal!

yes same price here, £1 equating to about $2, i just gave 6 away, horrible little things really nippy.

good score on the denisoni though, they are priced similar here to what you thought they should be
