harlequin rasboaras-im getting this week and may get some rummynose tetras or glowlight tetras

could i get a fighter fish with these would they all be ok

Guppies = no, platies =no (colours on both too much), tetras=no, nippy. Is this in the 12g tank? You can't have harlequinds and tetras, choose either one or the other. One group of six, then you're done for stocking.

yes 12 gallon - 13
i dont know what ones to get

Go to your pet store and eye some fish.
Come back here and ask about them.
Its hard to do all your stocking online without actually seeing the fish. I know my fish look considerably different than some of the same fish online.

yes they do ok
well i have mentioned i do like rummy nose tetras and glowligght tetras

i also like some others like the sucking ones

NOW also i may go a HUGE aqurium place next week it is over a hours drive so what would happen if i was to get a fish would it be cold the time i get home as it would be over a hour

Whoa, hold it there. The only 'sucking ones' you can even think about getting are otos, but since you want tetras as well and the tank isn't mature enough, no to any sucking fish. Get a school of whatever you like, just ensure they do not get over about an inch and a half. As for the journey, bring a coolbox with something to hold the bags in place.

EDIT- I noticed another post mentioing harlequins. Do you have a school of them? If you do, you can't get any more fish.

Obviously not turned on to cool things down. It's used as insulation like a thermos flask what is inside gets held at the same sort of level as when it wen't in i.e. hot stays hot and cold stays cold

oh does it ok good
oh no we dont have 1
will they still be ok

Just find something to insulate them with, they put the bags with fish in in brown paper bags, right? Just fill the gaps in the bag with something insulating. You didn't answer the question about the harlequins. Do you have them, if so, how many?

Your fish have different water requirements. The livebearers(guppys, platys) need hard and alkaline water, tetras and harlequins the opposite.
