Well I bought 3 guppys at the weekend - 2 female and one male. Today I noticed a tiny baby fish swimming around. Went straight out and bought a floating breeder / fry tank. I now have three - yes THREE fry. They are sooooooo cute.

The question is - what shall I feed them - and how often?

Thanks

:fun:

Congratulations! :D

For now, you basically have two options;
  1. Finely crushed flakes, or;
  2. Fry food. I'd recommend the small powdered kind, either by Hikari or Tetramin. With Liquifry, it can be hard to see if they are actually getting food, and the fry food floats which makes it easier for them.
Once they grow up a bit, you can definitely do the flakes, alternating in some kind of small frozen/live or crushed freeze-dried food, and some veggies. Then the size of the food just gets bigger as they grow.

I'd also suggest you read the pinned topics. :thumbs:

Congrads.. Just stick some flake food in a zip lock bag and crush it using your fingers until its very fine powder like..

Congratulations on the fry!!! Good luck, i luv baby guppies, so cute!!! :D
