I'm going to see if the midas and oscar will get along in the 80 gallon, but if not, the midas is still only about 4 or 5", so she can live comfortably in the 29 gallon until I save up enough to get her a 55 gallon.
SirMinion: That's what I thought, but I went ahead and bought the pair because it's a 2 hour drive to the nearest store that carries them. I guess I'll watch the puffers closely and upgrade them if/when problems arise; they're young yet. I have a 10 gallon hospital tank I can toss one in if they start fighting until I can buy a 10 gallon that isn't covered in silicon like the hospital tank

!ill try and get some soon.it stretches from one wall to the other and its so cool it isnt plants it just had driftwood and slate and is just starting out its about 2 month old.My mam and dad bought it last christmas because as a noob i bought lots of fish that wernt really sutiable for the 30 gal i had so the bought me a bigger one!It costs loads but they got it second hand!I set it up with help from my uncle whos a discus breede and convinced them to buy it.Other than that one i only have an 18gallon and ive just got a new 30ish gallon and i have a 10gal with nothing in and a 1gal but the betta died
