I Have Some Neons But 4 Have Died In 2 Days?

Hay guys i have some neons ( if thats the wrong spelling sorry )
and they were fine but seem to dying off one by one...now there has been 4 deaths which is not to good....i have checked the water and all is fine so im so unsure whats happening...can anyone give me any advice or help cheers again the Fish Killa lol "H" :p

I assume you're referring to neon tetras. They prefer a soft, acidic (pH <6.5) water. Could this be the problem? Neons are not considered to be hardy anymore, so should only be introduced to a fully cycled tank. Also there is the problem of neon-tetra disease the symtoms of which are explained here...

In my opinion, not only that: but also a fully mature tank - which means 6 months + established.

I had mine as first fish, they have also moved twice and they have lasted all seven out of eleven a yaer and two months. They really like to be left in the dark and have hiding places like a ship.
They can of course need soft water but in Herts this is unlikely. Do you use tetra safe in the water changes ?

What size tank do you have? How long has it been setup? What tests do you have? Sorry for the questions, but somebody was going to ask you sooner or later.
