help guys... ive tried everything... i need something to keep me interested in fish. i remember how u used to love them and i was always coming up with communities of fish but that doesnt interest me any more... perhaps im moving to more predatory fish and i am getting a pet diamond python soon...
idk has this happened to you?
my current tank is in a poor state and my algae eater are dying, i had 5 of them and now im down to 3 but the male has turned into a vegetable and doesnt do anything. ever. he doesnt even hide.
ill update my fish list on my profile soon.

Fed any live food lately I love watching mine hunting food down.
Rearrange the tanks
Restock the tanks with something completely different.
Tried amphibians yet?
Tried inverts yet?

It happens, maybe its time to re-home the fish you have and either sell up the equipment you have or try different fish. Sometimes taking a break from it, gives you a renewed enthusiasm :)

amphibians are hard to get in my area and please tell me more about inverts..
bad news is that i only have a 20 gal tank so im limited in predatory fish do you have any ideas? but i do have an ideal tank for keeping feeder fish etc
and no i cant get snakeheads despite how awesome they are.

Shrimp are extremely interesting pets in a 20 gallon you could house pretty much any species except the filter shrimps (due to a high chance of not enough suspended food in the water for them to catch with their filters). A Crayfish at a push could go in there but long armed shrimp would probably be best. Do some further reading. Snails are also an option you could have a shrimp/snail tank and a figure 8 puffer tank, feeding the "pest" snails to the puffers.

I was going that way but I'm in the process of getting my tank restocked and have completely revamped it. It's helped me.

A bigger tank always helps me!!!
yeah i could do that!!
i have decided. im getting rid of my "peacefull" fish and im reverting back to australian natives. im getting 2 australian bass for my tank. they are slow growing and can be kept in groups and can be kept in warmer waters. which will also allow me to buy some new algae eaters to go with them. im quite hesitant to say goodbye to my spiny eel to because i was getting attached to him so ill change the substrate to sand so he can bury himself in it to hide from the bass

i guess i just had nothing going for me with fish so i neglected my fish. and i lost my precious blue panchax killifish :-(

ill save up for a bigger tank but that will be some time from now
thanks for the support guys n gals
ill post photos when i get them
