I Have Got The Dredded Whitespot!

I havnt got the ph levels, ammonia and the rest I am still waiting for a delivery of equipment.

tank temp: 26 degrees, cant getthis any higher as the heating filament is at its highest

Fish Symptoms : White dusting look, fish being lethargic.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 50 liters, change 30% water at least twice a week

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Dechlorinator, API stress coat+

Tank inhabitants: Clown loach (the fish that is ill), 1 male guppy, 2 small platys, 1 very small catfish, 5 neons

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):2 plants and the guppies

Exposure to chemicals: as above in chemical additives.

How doI treat this, I have had 2 guppies die and now I favourite fish, the loach, is looking ill.

Please help!

How many gallons is the tank.

Any tiny white spots on the fish the size of a grain of salt.
A dusting of talc on fish can be velvet.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

Water change till you can get your water tested.
Increase aeration.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.
Temp really need to be 30.

Only raise temp once you have added the med.
Make sure you can use the full dose with the fish you keep.
